Is it possible to make a scrolling screen in Tasker?

Good Evening all,

Ive been working with AutoVoice and TaskerNow for some time and have created literally dozens of voice commands to launch Tasks.

What Id like to create now, is a list of all my commands that I can display. Id like it to have the appearance of a long vertical list on a webpage where I could use my finger to scroll the screen and continue reading past the real estate avail onscreen.

Does any kind of plugin exist that can create a scrolling screen like I describe?

If not you can always use an AutoTools Dialog and use the "List" type :)

Hey Joao,

As always, its a pleasure and a privilege to hear from you :D

The material card looks like something I could edit to my idea, assuming the card could be vertically much longer than the vertical display of the phone and I could scroll it up and down to read entire contents.

Im going to watch the move card and expansion panel videos and see if that gives me an epiphany.

I actually did a build of a quick 2 command list via AutoTools Dialog list, and what I see looks FANTASTIC!

I love that Im able to display the Tasker Icon at top with the title :D

I think im going to go ahead and continue populating this with commands and see what happens as it gets larger.

So far Ive done Title (Voice Commands), title icon (the Tasker gear), and 2 statements in a list stacked with the return key. As the list grows longer ill put in sub-titles to separate different categories of commands (security, informational, multimedia, etc)

Yes as I populate the list, the screen generates a scroll thumb bar and moves exactly as I wanted.

AutoTools was the perfect solution and included bonus surprises like the icon and graphic options.

Call this troubleshoot done :)

Yes Sheraz, this is possible with default Tasker Scenes.

Make a text element, size it however you wish, select gradients or color or transparency for BG, set the color and size of the text, then, in

Vertical Fit Mode

select Allow Scrolling.

This lets any amount of text be placed in the element and you simply swipe up on the text to scroll it up and continue reading. No plugins necessary :D

That to me seems to mean a background picture larger than the screen resolution that you can drag left right up down to see the sides/corners not normally visible in the center of the display.

This does not exist to my knowledge, but vertical scrolling of screen text, as long as it is within the horizontal boundaries of the screen, already exists, see my post above for instructions to accomplish that.

The last two options at the bottom of the Text Element Edit (scroll all the way down to expose them) are:

Vertical Fit Mode

and 

Text Format

You want to click on the dropdown arrow for Vertical Fit Mode

By default, this is set to None

Change None to Allow Scrolling

If you are talking about images and text scrolling together I don't think that is possible. The best you could do is make the Text element the width and height of your phone. As long as this element included all text, it would look like your entire screen of text is scrolling

Means, Scroll the fully scene... Like, Other Normal Apps(Facebook,instagram) scrolling!
