Emulated Touch Not Working On An App

This is weird, but emulated touch works for toggling radios, but in the metronome app it won't work for activating buttons. The task was working when I triggered it in Tasker, but then that stopped working after I tried using it in the metronome. The following error message is given:

I've tried a different metronome app and set up a new task with emulated touch. It doesn't work in the metronome or in Tasker.
