Autowear not sending commands to phone

I have a annoying issue . I've looked online all over and my settings , permissions . Notifications it all but still when I want autowear to send a. Command tomy phone nothing happens.

I know the connection is good. I can send stuff to the watch and even send other things to my phone from 5ge watch 8l8n other apps. I tried just putting a word in the command to see if the word shows up on my phone and it doesn't. 

Another thing I'm confused about is formating of the command. I've seen <command > used I've seen &command used I've seen command==.==the. Used and I've seen %command used and I've seen command used. So it's a little confusing with all these symbols what one to use. I have a curse of being a over thinker so 5his doesn't help 😂
