Enable Wireless Cast Display

Hello there,

Is it possible to set the system setting "wifi_display_on" to enabled (from 0 to 1)?

The manual way is

Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Cast > 3-Point-Menu > Enable wireless display > on/off

My problem is, that I use this every day and the option is set disabled by default.

Every reboot the status changes from enabled to disabled.

If it works with tasker (found no option) I can implement this to my workaround.

Hi there. Maybe you can try using the "Custom Setting" action for that. Try using the Magnifying glass in the action with the option to automatically find the setting and see if Tasker can find it. Hope this helps! :)

thank you very much! That´s it! The developer of the Stock-Rom set this to disabled by default and told me, that this is not possible!
