You mean you have Play Store installed on the TV but it doesn't find Tasker ? What's the
Android version ? Is it an older device ?

To be visible in the TV version of Google Play apps need to have the Leanback Launcher Intent filter declared in the manifest and some other crap like banners and stuff. From a quick look in Taskers manifest I don't see any of that so that's probably why its not visible in the store. I wouldn't say it works perfect like 'but it works great I made a thread on the problems and workarounds I found might be worth a read if you can find it.

I haven't tried it, but could you not go to the playstore on a computer and install Tasker from there? My Android TV is offered there as an installation possibility.
