DND; Starred

I created a Profile for my Home. In this profile I used the DND function of Tasker to only allow Starred Contacts in my phone to ring/notify of calls and texts. Sometimes it functions correctly and other times it does not. I am unsure of how to correct it and how to proceed.

I am running a Galaxy Note 10+, Android 10.

I should also add that I recently "restored" my device as I was going through the normal troubleshooting options. 

- Restart

- Clear Cache

- Safe Mode

- ETC

According to Tasker I receive Green Lights across the board. However while exchanging Messages with a starred contact while my profile is enabled I will receive Notification sounds for a few messages. Then the notification noises would just completely stop. I wouldn't have known i received a message unless my watch vibrated.

Now there are no profiles active and I am not receiving any notifications. Email, Text, Ring Alerts. Attached is a Screenshot showing my enabled profiles.

perhaps your context of Home is not being set correctly, or reliably.  How are you checking that?

It's best if you just EXPORT your profile & tasks DESCRIPTION (not the XML gobbly gook) instead of having helpers guess at what you may or may not be doing  :-)

also, your tasker log file usually shows good insight of what is happening.
