Hey everybody,

As you can see I'm new to tasker.
I use a app to manage my todo lists called GQueues. GQueues has integration with Google Now Voice commands through "Note to Self",
that way you can create new todo items.
However, I like to use "Note to Self" for Evernote notes. I'm trying to find a way to create a custom command for redirecting Google Now to a another "Note To Self" that
but with the use of GQueues.
I imagine the steps like this:

1. Ok Google
2. "New Todo Pick Up Clothes"
3. Gets converted to "Note to Self (in GQUEUES) Pick Up Clothes"

However, I've been trying for a voice command to trigger another voice command, and can't seem to find a way. Also, I'm not sure if you can specify "Note to Self" on what app to create the note
other than the default app.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm not familiar with GQueues but have you tried using it with AutoVoice instead of Google Now?

I have AutoVoice, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I thought that AutoVoice was a mean to execute custom commands IN google now.
That's what I've been trying to do.
I don't see an AutoVoice action to change a voice command into another one.

So far the closest I've come to what I want is using AutoInput. When saying X voice command with AutoVoice, I can execute the following actions with input:
1. Run google voice search
2. Write note to self
3. If the autovoice command has the word evernote, then tap on the "note to self" apps list and select evernote. If it has the word "gqueues" tap on the note to self apps list and select gqueues.
and so on...

It seems a little convoluted though, takes a little while to execute, and also skips all the nifty integration with evernote and gqueues (like adding the due date if its mentioned).

So after that I tried this:
1. Autovoice recognize: If the words "note to self" and "evernote" are in the query.
2.AutoInput Action: tap on the "note to self" apps and tap on evernote.

The intention is that if I say "note to self evernote this seems like a good idea" it would automatically add the text, but also select the appropiate application. However, the problem now is that my AutoInput action seems to be interrupting/overriding the normal "note to self" process,so everything just ends closing up, instead of waiting for the pop up to show with the note and then do the rest.

Any pointers to the solution for this?
Thanks!

A "Wait" action seems to improve things a bit, but the task still works only half of the time :/

How would Tasker Now be different from my current AutoVoice workflow?
