Hello,

On my device, when I use the "Plane mode" shortcut, there is a stupid dialog that pops up and that cannot be marked as "do not show again".
Looking around, there is no direct way to remove this one, save for rooting the device which is not practical currently.
However, I was wondering if I could use Tasker to detect the dialog that pops up and then use an AutoInput task to "click" on the "Ok" button in that dialog.
And that's where I'm stuck because I have a hard time figuring out what "event" to use to react to the dialog coming up.

Do you have any suggestion?

Can you assume the dialog pops up and just go ahead and tell AutoInput to click it?  Perhaps a short delay before clicking to allow the popup to appear?

Yes, but I'm not triggering plane mode with Tasker, as it can't be done anymore. So I'm doing it via the "quick settings" area and that's why I'm looking for a way to detect the dialog, or any dialog for that matter.

%WIN usually displays a dialog pop up title.  On my S4, %WIN contains "Turn on Airplane mode" (without quotes) when the dialog pops up.  You should be able to use this condition to trigger Autoinput.

@OBones - Actually you can trigger Airplane Mode using just Tasker and Autoinput:

Test (32)
A1: All Settings
A2: AutoInput Action [ Configuration:Type: Id
Value: com.android.settings:id/switchWidget
Action : Click Package:com.joaomgcd.autoinput Name:AutoInput Action Timeout (Seconds):20 ]
A3: AutoInput Global Action [ Configuration:Action: Back Package:com.joaomgcd.autoinput Name:AutoInput Global Action Timeout (Seconds):20 ]

IF rooted, you can set airplane mode using tasker and secure settings plugin, tested it and it still works.

With Autoinput you can do it and you do not need root.
