Putting phone on silent mode when connected to bluetooth

My phone is a first gen Moto G, my headset is a Mpow Freego.

When my bluetooth is paired with my phone, and i get a call or text, the notification sound comes through the phone and bluetooth at the same time. I have the following setup on tasker (first time using tasker) and its not working

BT Connected (with bluetooth address) -> Ringer volume level 0, notification volume level 0

I have an inverse set up as well when the bt is off.

I tested it by turning the headset on, my phone said it was paired, but it didnt mute.

Can anyone help?

Try adding a few second wait before setting the ringer and notification volume to 0.

That didnt work. Heres my profile, this seems to be working with my notification sounds but not my phone ringer, which makes no sense as I deleted the notification option, but didnt remove it from the exit yet

Maybe try turning silent mode on instead of setting the ringer to zero.
