Listen to an intent

How to listen for the "com.android.music.metachanged" intent and include the extra named "album_art_path" using Tasker or other plugins? I want to use this intent to get the file path of album art of the current song.

I'm thinking you didn't read the Intents section of the userguide which I mentioned.

In fact, I had read the intent section well before posting in this forum. What I haven't well understood is where should I put the extra, in which text field. I had understood that for putting an extra in Intent Received category , I should convert it into a variable, in lowercase. It would be nice if you could publish the task here.

Ok i have understood how it works now. So, I made a profile like this:

PROFILE:
Intent Received: com.android.music.metachanged
Cat: None
Cat: None
Scheme:
Mime type:
Priority: Normal

TASK:
Flash: %album_art_path

The intent "com.android.music.metachanged" is sent everytime a track is played, paused, resumed or changed, according to what I have read about this intent.

But %album_art_path only flashes when i change track, then pause and then resume. I use Gonemad Music Player. How to listen for the intent everytime the track is changed?

Tasker doesn't make any decisions about the intent. If the variable isn't set, there was no
extra in the intent that was received.
