Auto Wear Error : "Couldn't create screen. Make sure your watch is connected"

Hi, I have just installed auto wear on my phone and wear os watch. However, I cannot do anything. Everytime I try to configure a screen, I got the error written in the object. And so with floating icons/complications/notifications etc.

If I try to send something using the help/tutorial on phone, I got nothing on watch. However, everytime I turn on the watch screen, now I got a toast notification on my phone. So autowear recognizes the watch, I think. What could I do to obtain a proper connection for auto wear?
