Not blaming Tasker or Join. Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with webhooks. My Sonoff devices are no longer working when initiated from Tasker.

Wish there was an ewelink plugin!

Do you mean on IFTTT?

Thank you for your contact.

Join: connect multiple devices (send pushes, remote SMS, notifications) on Android, Windows, Mac, Linux
Tasker: customize/automate anything on your phone!
AutoApps: add advanced functionality to Tasker via plugins

Yes… ifttt is my link between the Tasker/Join and the Sonoff devices.

The most important function that I have lost is my garage device is now unable to restore charging power to itself.

Alexa command activates outlet that makes a relay change state. That relay interrupts charging power to the device. Device does not like to be discharging so it restores charging by deactivating the relay. Relaxed relay restores charging power to device.

This ensures that my garage remote does not stay in a "remote button pushed state" after the door movement is initiated.

Without the webhook, the garage device (phone) has no way of controlling the wifi outlet. Unless I replace the outlet with better plugin/Tasker integration.

Try to use the Join API directly and see if that works. That way you can know if the issue is related to IFTTT.

Not sure how to use a join api to control the sonoff device. Would be willing to share my sonoff info with you for troubleshooting.

This is what I see in IFTTT…

I just noticed that I no longer have IFTTT in my list of devices in Join. How do I get it back?

It was all related.  I re-added IFTTT and had to reselect IFTTT in each of my Join actions.  All is restored now.  One benefit of this is that I found that the eWeLink app now has a time out feature where the switches can be set to turn off after being turned on.  User selects a value between .5 and 3600 seconds.  This replaced my device's function of turning the switch back off.

I still needed the IFTTT/Join to work to use Tasker to operate the switch.  Glad I got that working again.  Still crossing my fingers while I wait for eWeLink to make a plugin for us.  Is there any incentive we can offer them?  Assistance or some kind of skeleton to start with?  Could an independent dev do something with their stuff to make a plugin?

Glad you got it :) New plugins for Tasker can be developed following this:  https://tasker.joaoapps.com/plugins.html
