Hi,
I've been trying to wrap my head around this, but I'm not sure if it's the fever or I've just misplaced some IQ points, but...How exactly do I trigger a Tasker function from Join?

Case: I will send a formatted string from my home automation system to Join on certain events.

In Tasker, I've made an even (Join plugin - on received push):
* Text filter: Plantealarm (exact)
* Variable names: var1, var2, var3

When I make the call I'm getting a notification on my phone (would like to not get that, but then I guess I would have to omit the title?), but my Tasker task doesn't even seem to start (I've made a notification to signal entering the task).

Any obvious mistakes I'm making here?

You have to use the text filter to match the text you send in the push :)
I'm guessing what you want to be sending is Plantealarm=:=var1Text=:=var2Text=:=var2Text in the text field and leave the title empty.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your contact.
