Hello,

I have been using Tasker for years, and I love it. I would say I am an intermediate user, although with this "problem", I do need some help:

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S8, not rooted
Android version: 9

I use Verisure smart plugs to control my lights, and I also use a smart lock for my door. I would like to know: Is there any way to get Tasker to work like "If This, Then That" and react by changing the status of any of my smart plugs? For example: Person X unlocks the door = Tasker turns on my window lights for 5 minutes, and then turns them off again.

For those of you who are not familiar with Verisure, there is an app within which you can click the different smart plugs to change the on/off status.

I have been fiddling around with AutoInput to simulate clicks, but the problem seems to be that the screen needs to be on when the event occurs for it to work, and that is not the case, of course.

Is there any convenient way of doing this?

Another scenario I hope to get to work is, when I leave my work WiFi, I want one of my smart plugs to turn off for 15 minutes and then turn back on again.

Any help appreciated.

If your states create a notification then auto notification may be useful for you.

They do not always, but I could create notifications using Tasker?

I do not see how AutoNotifications could click the on/off switches for me, though. I never used AutoNotifications before, so any further explanation would be much appreciated.
