Hi guys,
I would like to auto boot node-red when I turn on my tablet LeNovo with android 10.
Can I do it with Tasker?
Thanks.

Do you mean that you want to run a command line on your PC? Maybe you can use the Join Desktop app for that? that allows you to run command line commands with Join on your phone.

Thank you for your contact.

Join: connect multiple devices (send pushes, remote SMS, notifications) on Android, Windows, Mac, Linux
Tasker: customize/automate anything on your phone!
AutoApps: add advanced functionality to Tasker via plugins

Thanks for your reply João.
No. I want to run node-red automatically on my tablet with android 10 when it boots. I tried with termux:boot but with no success. I would like to know if I can do it with Tasker.
Thanks.

Oh I see, I'm not familiar with Node-RED on a tablet sorry... Maybe it has an intent that can wake it up?

The intent is to run on a tablet a Node-Red dashboard on Kiosk Mode and for that I need to boot Node-Red when I start the tablet.
Thanks for your help.

I meant an Android Intent, sorry 😄 Like the ones you can send with the Send Intent action in Tasker.

I don't know what intents Node-RED supports... If you can find those out somehow you can send them with Tasker.

Maybe what OP is asking is actually easier: in tasker make a profile "event/device boot" -> and action "run app (nodered)"

I tried to do something like that, but to run node red I need to execute a script on termux. I launched termux with tasker with success, and after that I run a script too to boot node red, but this time with no success.

is "run/shell" action impossible to execute in tasker without root?
