Good Rom To Go With Tasker?

I'm using a rooted (obviously) Galaxy S3 and I'm absolutely fed up with Android 4.3. I tried installing Kitkat but it just didn't work, there was something wrong with the file so I thought I'd try something new. Is there a ROM that goes particularly well with Tasker? I want something lightweight and fast, but then after 4.3 I imagine anything is an upgrade.

Hopefully someome with an s3 and experience comes along to share some with you, but in the mean time maybe check out the xda forums. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development

Is Cyanogenmod just open source versions of android?

CyanogenMod is a custom version of the Android operating system. It's here to offer a 'better' version than Google can provide, with more features and more control for the hardcore user.

Its the Bomb flash it asap! Ive been running it for about 5/6 years now.

I tried installing that version of Kitkat but it just didn't install. I guess I'll give it another go.

When I had a S3 I like PacMan Rom. Ran great for me.

Cyanogen mod didn't install - it turns out there's a global connectivity problem pretty much anywhere outside the States at the moment.

I'm using Slimkat and it's pretty good so far.
