I Can't Automate Typing

First  I am using Autoinput plugin to inject text. I can type on other apps just fine; there is this certain app that I can't, unfortunately, that's the app that I need to work with. My task goes like this:

> Click the search box.

> Inject the text.

I have already granted all Tasker permissions from the app that I downloaded from GitHub in this tab.

Can you tell me what settings am I still missing? Thank you. Please help me.

Does the input gain focus when you do that? Can you maybe try the helper in the v2 Action instead and see if that works for you?

Autoinput seems to just die randomly. You can have a previously working task and then all of a sudden it doesn't work. Clearing the storage on autoinput, turning off the profile attached to the task and back on again, and/or modifying and saving the related task itself... then it seems to work for a while longer.
