hello, could be possible to change resolution on app start? simple example: right now i am using a phone with screen resolution 1080p. some games are stuttering on this resolution though, so i use a program that let you choose various resolutions when activated to change the screen output at 720p . this app requires some actions to perform the task, making the game start a 7, 8 passages action . i have automated the program start with tasker, so that clicking on the game brings up the resolution changer first, but i have some problems (screen duplucation, multiple istances of program/games and so on) . is it possible to add in tasker a simple action like this? app-->set resolution-->direct start in the resolution set       thanks

No, I wouldn't have a clue where to start doing that. It's not part of the Android API.

Your best bet is requesting that the author of this other app add a Tasker plugin component:

just informing that making some trials i've found out that tasker can already obtain what i wanted: simply starting a shell script before the execution of the game/program with root privileges and the command "am display-size HxW" (720x1280 for example) , and on exit program the same command but with the original resolution. thank you for creating such great program!!!
