Security: Opening ADB Wifi Permission / tcp port 5555 is probably not a good idea long-term

I just want to put it out there that enabling ADB 5555, as described in ADB Wifi Permission, only increases the chance that the device will be exploited. The fact that there's no way to permanently configure this setting, and that it resets on reboot, suggests that it's not recommended by the android devs.

Websites like shodan.io scan specifically for devices with open adb ports. Register with the site, so you can see the following search results. Also, try to search it for your public IP address, to see if you're listed and, thus, a target for hackers.
