Notify LED does not light up RGB LED light on LG G5 H850

Hello,

I am using the phone: LG G5 (H850 version), rooted Android 7.0 (Android security patch level: 1 April 2017), LG software version V20d Europe. I have got installed Tasker in version 5.0b1m.

The checkbox "Settings > Sound and Notification > Notification LED" is checked and the sub-setting "Settings > Sound and Notification > Notification LED  -> Downloaded Apps" option is checked too.

I tried to create the task that will light up the RGB LED over the screen in blinking mode. So I added in Tasker "Notify LED" task with any text and I set "Colour" to "red" (I tried other colours too). Unfortunately, despite of the fact that notification appears in the notification bar the LED does not light up. I did the tests with adding to the chain of the tasks one task before "Notify LED" named "Notification Pulse". It sets value to "On", but it does not help in this situation. I observed that it only changes the value of "Settings > Sound and Notification > Notification LED" checkbox, which in my scenario is checked before "Notify LED" task invocation. I did tests with turning off the screen before the "Notify LED" task is invoked and after its invocation, but it did not change the LED behaviour.

I did tests with "Set Light" Task too. It lights up the LED (in continues mode instead of blinking one) when the screen is on. Unfortunately, it stops lighting after turning screen off. In order to light LED up again I have to execute this task again.

I did tests with AutoNotification 3rd Party app, but the behaviour in terms of lighting up the RGB LED is exactly the same like "Notify LED" action in Tasker - the RGB LED does not light up.

I am sure that it is possible on my LG G5 phone to achieve desired blinking RGB LED notifaction - e.g. Gmail, ChompSMS, Calendar Notifier, LG Dialer apps are able to light LED up in blinking mode on my phone (even when the screen is turned off). 

Could you help me what can I do to light RGB LED up? Maybe I am missing any phone setting?

Hello.
I have a Sony xperia z5 and a nexus 7 lte. Both running nougat.
I also have the same problem. Led notification is not working anymore.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Notify LED doesn't work correctly on nougat. It's a known issue. Before posting you should have done a search in the forum.
