Hello, community!

About Tasker app factory.. I've created a task to perform the simplest action ever: turn off screen.

Then a I exported the task to app, which transformed the task in a standalone apk.

But when I try to install it, the "install" button seems valid (highlighted) but it doesn't respond my click! I can click in "cancel" but can't click in "install".

Does anybody has a clue of what is happening here? :-/

I'm on samsung galaxy Note 2 running Android v4.3

Have you enabled 'allow 3rd Party app install' or 'side loading' or 'untrusted apps' (or whatever it's called on your device) in Android setting s?

This probably wont help but what happens if you try a simple hello world app factory app? Does that install?

Hey everybody! I've found the solution! For some reason an app for gesture launch wasn't letting me click "install".

Once I've unistalled this shit I got able to install apk's normally!

Thank you so much for trying to help me. Both of you guys. Hugs!

oh, I have the same problem, Note 2, tasker 4.4u3m, Android 4.4.2. allow 3rd party installation. But no gesture app. Can't reinstall apps previously installed without problems. (and app factory is updated as well)

think the problem begun when updating to KitKat, but not sure since I didn't use tasker for a while. But noticed that a tasker created app stopped to write to file/calendar/http (it took about a month before I noticed, but sometime around the same time I updated to KitKat)

any more suggestions? I really want to use them as stand alone apps...
