Tasker under microg?

Is there any way that I could pay for some sort of special licensed version of Tasker (full functionality) that I could install and run under microg without any access to the Play Store?

If you want multiple licenses you can sign up with a higher tier right away (for example $8 for 2 licenses, $12 for 3 licenses, etc) or just wait the number of months until the correct $ amount has accumulated.

I'm assuming that the only thing Tasker uses Google for is license verification, and that once I become a Patron and get a licensed Tasker version, that it would run with full capabilities under microG, without any need whatsoever for any connection to anything from Google.

Is that a correct assumption?

Yes, that's correct. It should work correctly with microG. At least I haven't heard any complaints 😅
