How to import to tasker from another Phone

Hello Sheraz,

You can import and export either a Task or a Profile, You just need to search for Tasks to upload by clicking on the Tasks tab and selecting Import Task, or Click on the Profile tab and select Import Profile.

To send to yourself, start with the phone you have the task on already. Long press the Task until it highlights, then click the three dots in the top right corner and select Export from the menu. Then select XML to Storage. This will copy the Task, and open your options to pick an email client. Select what you want (like Gmail for instance) and your mail client will open with the Task already attached as and XML file. Send that email to yourself.

Now take the phone you want the Task to be added to. Open email client, open your mail from yourself and download the XML. This will go to Downloads by default. Close your email, Open Tasker. Click Task tab, select Import Task, and a screen will show you at the default location Tasker/tasks. If you look at the right bottom corner of the screen you will see a little Icon of a cell phone. click that to open a file navigation window, Click on Download. It will open, you should see your XML. Select it and you are done, it populates to your Task list.

Repeat these same steps to mail Profiles to yourself, just use the Profile tab to export and import.

I know, these types, It's time consuming!

I means, Automatically Add projects to other phones! Without touch to another phone!
May be you're undeestand,my little english!

Even NFC requires contact between both devices. Im not sure that what you want to do is possible.

Ive been using the existing Import/Export for several years now and it is actually very fast and intuitive once youve done this a few times.

I know of no other way to transfer Tasks and Profiles between devices than the way I explained, sorry.
