Hi,

Samsung has three vibration intensity sliders directly available in the settings:
  • Incoming call
  • Notifications
  • Haptic feedback
I'd like to change at least one or all of them according to whether the phone is in it's wireless charging stand. What action do I need in order to manipulate these values with Tasker? I tried a number of actions regarding vibration, but basically it only puts in it silent modes where the vibration is the only thing that's still active. I want audio notifications to still be on, but disable the vibrations.

Thanks in advance, Alex

Hi there. Maybe you can try using the "Custom Setting" action for that. Try using the Magnifying glass in the action with the option to automatically find the setting and see if Tasker can find it. Hope this helps! :)

Thank you for your contact.

Hi and thank you. That worked very well, although the installation of the settings helper app was necessary.

The settings name was found automatically to be SEM_VIBRATION_NOTIFICATION_INTENSITY which directly controls any and all notification vibrations, so they can be globally disabled.

Thank you again!
