Hi everyone,

I try to make a battery bar in Tasker using this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jp81Ihp59R0

When I get to the part of adding the variables it goes wrong. When I go to the 'vars' tab, I tap on the plus-button.
There I can enter the variable name (In this case %BATT_LINE_100_CLR), but when I press the checkmark, nothing shows up, nor can I enter the variable value...

Does someone know what I'm doing wrong or does someone have a solution for this?

BTW I'm using Tasker 4.3u1 right now... (Also tried it with older versions, but without success...)

Not how I would add variables. Create them in the appropriate tasks. They will be inserted into the variables tab upon creation.

Again, use the vars tab as reference guide for current associate variable values. Create the variables in the task.
Actions like, variable set, variable add, etc, will all 'create' any previously undefined or non-existent variables.

Well, according to that video, I can't think of an another way to add these variables, but I discovered something strange too:
I've got my 'Home" project and a separate project for the battery bar.
When I look at the 'vars' tab in my home project there are 3 buttons that can be toggled, while there are only two out of the three buttons that can be toggled inside my created project called 'Battery bar'...

So I just used my Home project to add the variables and they worked!

(The only problem now is that my bar is almost full and green while my battery is at 40%...)
