hotspot not activated

i have granted all permissions to tasker via adb as i am non-rooted. i have a profile that triggers a task. task have action to enable hotspot and set wifi to off. problem is hotspot is not enabled but wifi is set to off. there is no error in the tasker logs.
i have a similar task that have a action to turn off hotspot and it runs fine. i am attaching images. any help would be apprey

Can you please try running the "hotspot on" task manually inside Tasker and check if it shows an error? Thanks

just checked, task executed successfully, hotspot is also enabled

working when task executed independently, not working when task is attached to profile

Sorry, maybe your device somehow limits Tasker to toggling the hotspot when it's not in the foreground. Unfortunately the API to toggle hotspot is not an official Android API so it's bound to have some incompatibilities...

Seems like turning it on is handled differently than turning it off... :( Sorry!

i have deleted the profile and associated task as well. i have then created new task and associate it with new profile. it just worked only one day. from another day onward i am facing same issue. do u have any clue?

Does it show an action error notification when it fails?
