Trying to run a task that automatically deletes files from a specific google drive folder and it will error out any time the file is not owned by me.
I own the folder and have full read/write permissions on it. I can manually delete them from google drive myself.

After running on files i don't own i get
Error :1
Unknown error

Is this a bug or any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Also an unrelated question, any way to queury the owner of the file as a variable?

Can you please export your task's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the task in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance

Thanks.
Does the same error happen if you manually try to trash just 1 file?

Errors again

This is definitely a permissions / file ownership issue. If I own the file I can delete it, but if someone else owns it, that's when I get the error.
I have full read/write privs on the folder (shared google drive)

So it does that with files that are shared with other people?

I have a google drive folder I own and shared. Other people can insert files into this folder.
If someone else uploads the file, I am not able to delete it this way.
If I upload the file, it deletes fine.

I am able to manually log into google drive and delete it that way.

Hhmm, maybe that's not possible to do via API it seems... :/ Did you give Tasker full permission on your Google drive or just permission to access files and folders it created?
