Hi,
I'm trying to integrate Tasker with HomeSeer via the AutoRemote addon and predefined templates from the author of the HS Plugin.

I've created simple task, but when I try to run it I'm getting a message from Tasker saying "To perform this action the additional plugin AUtoRemote must be installed. ..."

The problem is that I have AutoRemote installed and unlocked (purchased) through AutoApps interface. There is another instance of AutoRemote (standalone?) in the Play Store, but it needs to be purchased

If I click on the message I'm guided to the Play Store page with the standalone app, but no information about which operation requested the access and why it is not working with the AutoApp's version.

Should I purchase the standalone version instead of the one from AutoApps? Or maybe there is a way to track what causes the issue and then fix it?

Hi there!
When you buy AutoRemote (or AutoBarcode) through AutoApps, it'll still say "Lite" in its name, but in reality it'll be the unlocked version. Sorry for the confusion.
You can check out more info about this here: https://joaoapps.com/autoremote/faq/
Check out the question "I’ve bought AutoRemote through AutoApps. It still says “AutoRemoteLite”! Why is that?"
In your case, this means that the task you imported was made for the standalone version and not the one that says "lite". Sorry about that!
Hope this helps!

OK, I understand the issue, but how to solve it?
I tracked down the issue is with one task and one profile, (I see the warning icons nex to them), though I can't open and edit them to point proper app. It seems that they have to be re-created from scratch, which may be difficult for me as i imported them from another author and can't see the structure when they are broken.
Is there some way to just edit the broken part or at least see the whole profile/task structure to be able to recreate it?

Second question: what is the future for plugin management in Tasker, standalone app, or managed by AutoApps?

If the future are standalone apps, maybe I can return the one purchased via AutoApps and buy the standalone version?
If the future are plugins managed by AutoApps, then maybe some work on recreating the profiles/tasks is worth it...
