I am using the base Notify task but the vibration pattern does not work. I entered "0,1000" so it vibrates for 1 seconds but nothing happens. I even checked Android notification settings to make sure vibration was enabled.

Hi. Did you make sure to set a notification category when creating the notification?

Maybe you had used the same notification category before without a vibration? Try using a new category :)

It took me 6 hours to finally figure it out and it was a lot of trial and error. I ended up re-installing Tasker. Then the first time I run the task it creates the category in the Android settings. The vibration worked but my pattern wasn't recognizing. Even deleting the category and recreating it didn't work. I had to use AutoNotification to edit the vibration pattern for that category.

Yeah, once you first create a notification category there's no way to change it (unless you use the AutoNotification hack). That's why I suggested using a new category. Glad you got it and sorry for the confusion!
