Hi,
My phone is non-rooted with Oreo 8.01.
The phone is smart lock at home.Smart lock is up to 4 hrs and automatically disable device after 4 hours non activity.
It is any way I can wake the screen to keep device unlock for more then 8 hrs?
It's any Tasker setup available to enable and disable flight mode after 7-8 hrs?
Thank you
Adam

Yes, you can use a popup action for example. That'll wake the screen. :)

Flight mode can only be toggled with root unfortunately. Hope this helps!

Rather than using Smart Lock, you could change the lock screen timeout to a high number. This keeps the device unlocked for 24 hours on my Galaxy S9:

        Custom Setting
        Type: Secure
        Name: lock_screen_lock_after_timeout
        Value: 86400000
        Use Root: Off

Because of the way flight mode works, the easiest way to do this is with AutoInput.

Then the phone is not secure for 24 hrs anyone can use it?
Please explain where you going to inpute custom values to set device unlock and maybe more about autoinput how to implimate.Thank you

24 hours was just an example, you can set it to whatever you want. I use this to keep my phone unlocked while I am connected to my home wifi. When I am out of range of the wifi the timeout is automatically set to a much lower value. The timeout is in milliseconds.

Please explain where you going to inpute custom values to set device unlock and maybe more about autoinput how to implimate.Thank you

An introduction to AutoInput can be found here

Autoinput to set flightmode does work - but your screen needs to be on for it to work sadly.

I still  don't know why Google can't put an option in settings where you can enable advanced mode and have the ability to do things like set flight mode through Android, like Gingerbread would allow.
