Can I use Tasker to start Jabber on my phone, enter my username and password, and then press a 'sign in' button?

I'm apparently not searching for the right terms.

Cisco Jabber is an android XMPP chat app that starts automatically but forces me to type in my username and password daily. I'm hoping Tasker can do that for me, but all search finds so far is how to log into Web pages.

You might need the autoinput app. It can insert text into apps. It works with Tasker. Available in the play store.

Yes, I use AutoInput to login and logout to both Pandora and Spotify. I also have some tasks that kill their leftover processes.
