doesn't record audio

Hello,

I have tried to record audio and failed. I endeavored to use any sources, codecs, formats and it still did not work.

Tasker version is 4.2u3, android 4.3, samsung galaxy s4.

How can it be solved?

If it doesn't work on your device, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do. I know the code
is correct, it's worked on multiple devices over the last 4 years.

Common problems: sound level is very low (if the file size you've recorded is > 0 then
probably it's that), hardly any device has the hardware which allows recording of
incoming call stream.

When I'm trying to record from mic and other sources the mistake is occured: the error of the media intialization.

What does it mean?

I presume a problem with your hardware of Android (maybe you have a custom ROM ?).

I just tested this on an N5 stock with 4.4 without problem, and havn't changed the code since Android 1.5.
