I found a small bug with some of my Tasker widgets with the new Tasker update to v4.3.  Before the update any Tasker widget that is on my UI would show all text underneath the icon.  It would wrap the text, center it, and skip down to the next line if the word was too big or if the widget had several words.  With the update to v4.3 all text remains on one line and if it's too long it's hidden with "...".  Is there any way to revert this back to the way it was?  Please see the before and after photos and note the 4 widgets around my homescreen titled "Voice Command", "Autovoice", "Busy Mode", and "Alarm Variable Setup".

Yes, this was changed from the previous version. I recall there was a thread about it. And in the release notes it reads:
"widget labels weren't set to be a single line"

Can this be reverted back so widget text can be on multiple lines or have the option to be or not? I never saw this thread, do you have the link for it?

I don't have the link offhand but you should be able to find it with a search.

The problem is that there's no way for Tasker to know what a widget looks like for a particular launcher/device/OS combination.

In my judgement, single line labels are by far the most common, so I've switched it to that. Previously it was bugged, since that
wasn't what I had intended.

At some point maybe you can configure how a widget looks in some way, but until then you need to use a shortcut
instead of a widget if you want it to match other things on your homescreen.

I'd prefer to use a widget since when I press each icon, I have it set so tasker changes the widget text based on different profile or task parameters. Shortcuts do not show any text. Any further suggestions?

Use a compatible widget designer like Minimal Text Widget.

Just updated and am very disappointed. Not only don't the labels wrap any more, they are 2 lines below the icon. I understand your difficulty in matching all OS/launcher combinations but an option to have it work the way it did before would be a viable solution. If not, is there a way to put a carriage return in the label?
Please, this has severely limited the amount of information that can be displayed in the label and because of the gap, the label doesn't even look like it belongs with the associated icon.
Thanks for such a great app.
