How to add a "shake the phone" action in Tasks? Thank you.

Hi there,

I am bad with tech, but I only want to do one thing. I want Tasker to help me shake my phone every 5 seconds when running PEPERA (an app) 

so I added 3 actions under this task
1. Shake the phone. 

2.  Taks-> Wait -> 5 Seconds

3.  Task -> Goto -> Action Number -> 1 -> %PACTIVATE  DOSENT MATCH "PEPERA" 

I also linked under Profile the app PEPERA with this task. 

they only problem for me is, I don't know how to write the command for action 1. 

Please help!

I think it's action > vibrate

But which action are you using?
What's your %PACTIVE definition? Should be *,Named Profile,* since %PACTIVE is a comma value seperated list.

Export your profile as a description for us:

To export a profile as description:

1) Disable beginner mode.
Go to menu > preferences > UI tab > Beginner mode and uncheck it.

2) A profile must be named to export
Long press on the profile that you want to name and a menu bar should appear at the top of the screen.
Select the "A" icon to open a dialog to name the profile.
Note: You can change tasker's profile creation sequence to request a profile name when creating a profile with:
menu > preferences > UI > scroll down to Main Screen section and find 'Ask For New Profile Name' and check it.

3) Post the Tasker description of the profile or task that you are having trouble with.
To do that you long press on the profile name (or task name) and then go to menu > export > description to clipboard (don't select export XML). Then paste the clipboard contexts into a post.

Hi  thanks for replying,it gets a little bit too complicated.
I don't want the phone to vibrate or to detect a shake by the user,
I want Tasker to simulate a shake, as if the user keeps shaking the phone every 5 seconds.

You guys know in the app Tin_ter people have to keep tap 'like' and someone wrote this http://micronicheapps.com/how-to-make-a-tinder-auto-liker-with-tasker/

Basically I want the same script but instead of tapping, I want task to " shake" the phone, so would just change some actions of this scropt,.

There's know way I know of to emulate that a shake happened.

Drive on a dirt road with a dash mounted hands-free holder.

That'll simulate shaking the $#!+ outta it.
