Tasker and Autoinput for Automating Wifi Hotspot (Tether)

I am trying to automate my Samsung S8 Plus to turn on the Wifi Hotspot (tether) function when connecting to a particular bluetooth device and then doing the opposite when disconnected.  I found some tutorials and learned the fundamentals in using the features needed to execute these tasks.  I created a profile for both enabling and disabling the hotspot.  When manually running the code, the code executes as expected and performs the task.  This even works when I have turned the screen off.  When connected or disconnecting to Bluetooth the corresponding profile will turn green indicating that it was activated but the actions wont run.  Any insight or ideas would be greatly appreciated.  I attached screenshots of the profiles and tasks.

As an update, I find that if I disable all of the AutoInput tasks, the automation carries out automatically.  Not sure what is preventing input for AutoInput.  Still allows it to be run manually.
