Should be if you put x in the caller field (if I remember right). You
could
also try !+ (translation: not one or more characters).

I wonder if you could work around this by adding a prefix to the names in your contact list such as G1- for group 1, G2- for group 2, etc. Then could you direct calls based on "G1*", "G2*, etc?
 
For people and businesses that I want to keep in my contact list but don't want them to be mixed in with my main contact list, I add a lower case "z" to the front of their name. This forces them to the bottom of my contact list. They are still there but just out of the way.

This is the way to go.  I searched and struggled for more than a year before solving the problem with this technique.  Not only is it applicable to call blocking, but also tailoring how you answer your calls.
