Join / Tasker not working anymore with Nvidia Shield Android 9.0

Hello everyone,

I have sideloaded Join and Tasker on my Nvidia Shield and they were both working fine until recently. I have updated the Shield with Android TV 9.0 and since then, I cannot send Join push messages FROM the Shield.

I keep receiving this error pop-up: 

Error when sending message: Could not post JSON requests to GCM after 6 attempts.

However, I can send Join messages TO the Shield.

When I run Join diagnostics tool, all checks pass except these two: "Receive push with direct GCM Key" / "Receive push without going through Join's server".

Have you already seen that ? Any suggestion to fix it ?

Hi. Maybe you're using an old version of Join? Can that be it?

Sorry, I was away for a few days and couldn't reply before.

Yes, you are right, the Join version was too old. It's now fixed ! I downloaded the APK from a mirror site. Do you have a site with your official Join APKs, like for Tasker ?

I don't. APK Mirror is a good place to get them :)
