What if you set the media volume to 1 instead of 0 (mute)?

This actually did work. I can live with that also. My main problem is when I'm at work I like to use my BT headset for media so I need to turn it all the way up. When I disconnect and load an app occasionally some start up music would blast at the office.

Would you happen to know how I can setup the IF statements so both of these conditions only work if the phone is on vibrate? I don't need the volume to adjust when it's on normal.

Use the built-in Silent Mode (%SILENT) variable.  For the values it may have, see the userguide (in Tasker, menu button -> info -> user guide or online at http://tasker.dinglisch.net/userguide/en/).

Thanks so much for the help. Got this setup and working just how I want it finally and with lots of experimentation. The only issue i'm running into is someone mentioned somewhere else that the BT disconnect should be an exit event and not a ongoing. When I change the profile to an exit event it stops working. Works fine as on going though. Any insight to that?

Hmmm ... that doesn't make sense to me.  But if it works, it works.
