Alarm events for LG G3 Stock Clock app

Hi,

is it somehow possible to get the events for the LG G3 stock alarm clock app (com.lge.clock)? Will it have to be added to Tasker or is there some other way? Those Alarm events that are currently available in Tasker don't seem to fire when my Alarm goes off or is dismissed.

You could try this app to see if there's a broadcast sent when the alarm goes off that you could then capture with an intent received profile: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lt.andro.broadcastlogger

It doesn't look like there's a broadcast. Too bad. Guess I'll have to go with a different Alarm app...

com.lge.clock is one of the supported packages, presumably they've changes the signals for the G3 however.

Can confirm stock alarm does not trigger the Alarm events on Tasker. I installed AlarmPad and all triggers work beautifully

I didn't add any label (didn't know how those work or what to put in there). Should I try it with a label and if so, what kind of label?

I also installed Alarm Pad yesterday and it works great (with the Alarm Pad plugin that is).

No, it's even less likely to work with a label.

If you really like the stock alarm on the LG G3, I found a workaround where you just trigger your Task on the launch of the Clock app.

I use Tasker to mute my white noise so I can actually hear the alarm, so making this work was a must for me.
