I am brand new to Tasker and purchased both the Tasker App and Secure Settings pro in order to get the big Digital Clock to display on my wireless charging stand. I have the note 8 and watched the tutorial for setting up the AOD to display while charging but that clearly didn't work. Is there someone who may have an idea how I go about making this happen? I just want the big display when charging and to stop when taken off.

Thanks for any help.

Not sure you are going to be able to get it to work the way you want for sure but you set up a task to turn AOD on or off. I'm pretty sure the lock screen has to be cycled (unlocked and then locked again) one time for the setting to take effect though. But you can set up the task under Custom Settings>System>aod_mode. Setting it to 0 turns AOD Off and setting it to 1 turns AOD on.

I created a small project to test and it appears to work on my Note 9. When I place my phone on the charger, the screen comes on for a few seconds and that let's the AOD toggle.

Import the project taskerproject: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

I went ahead and tried again and you are right . The AOD did come on and off. But I want just the big clock app to come on. There is a setting within the the app to stay on that i can toggle, so of the task will work, then it will do what I want.
