AutoInput accessibility and Navigation buttons

On my new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, AutoInput is not working correctly when accessibility is enabled. The three navigation buttons fail to respond (such as the back button). If I switch the phone over to using gestures, the gestures will work properly. Turning off the accessibility for AutoInput does make the navigation buttons function again.

This was happening with an "empty" Tasker environment (before any tasks or profiles were created), as well as after my S22 Tasker environment was imported.

AutoInput accessibility does work on my S22 Ultra.

Has anybody else seen this?

Am I the only one using the new Samsung S25 Ultra?

Thanks for the response. But I ran into a slight problem when attempting to side load that test AutoInput APK. Normally I install AutoInput through the Google Play store, and I am able to turn on/off the Accessibility for AutoInput. But with the side loaded AutoInput  the accessibility open is disabled, and Google states it needs the "Restricted Permissions" permission to be enabled. This is the first time I have heard of a  "Restricted Permissions" permission, and I don't see it in any possible "permissions" list.

Hi. To unrestrict the app go into Android Settings > Apps > Tasker > 3-dot Menu > Unblock it there. Hope this helps!

I am still having to manually stop and restart accessibility on AutoInput with this patched version on my unlocked S25ultra
What can I send in for troubleshooting?

That usually happens if your device keeps killing AutoInput in the background.
To make sure Tasker and the AutoApps run in the foreground please check here: https://tasker.joaoapps.com/userguide/en/faqs/faq-problem.html#00

Pay special attention to the location part. If Tasker doesn't have permission to get location in the background it might not work correctly, so disable and re-enable the location permission and make sure that you allow Tasker to always access it.

Make sure to check here too: https://dontkillmyapp.com/?app=Tasker

I have used Tasker for manyyears and these settings are all on and set. This started when I upgraded to Android 15 beta on my S24u and continues on my S24u, even with the patch provided above., It is a multiple times per day problem where I go into Accessibility and toggle AutoInput off then back on.

Yes, unfortunately I can't control when devices decide to kill apps like that, sorry! Can you try enabling the "KEEP ACCESSIBILITY RUNNING" option in Tasker for that app?

I have done that in the app.
I know you can't control the OS, didn't mean to imply this.
Anyone else facing this issue?
