[Help] Proximity Sensor not working.

I am trying to use "Proximity Senor" but it is not giving any response when move my hand close to proximity senor. 

I aslo set " Preferance /Moniter/Proximity Sensor to "Yes"

Phone Model : Samsung M51

OS :  One UI Core 4.1

Android version : 12

Find an app on the app store that only does sensor testing.  I suspect you will find that your sensor itself isn't working.

Ohh man ,

Proximity Senor is working perfectly fine whenever i am on call (when my ear come close to senor phone dispaly off)

BUT...As you said find an app on app store that do senor testing and did that but mutiple app show no response or no data coming from Proximitysenor .

Hi, I also tried to use the proximity sensor with Tasker. I gave up because it was working only in a fraction of attempts. As you said it is working fine when the ear comes close to the sensor while a telephone call but strangely not good enough by testing with the e.g. the hand.

I am on a S21 with A13

That's a limitation on the phone itself. Unfortunately Samsung only enables the proximity sensor in certain situations like in calls, sorry!
