Long Press fields prevent Android's COPY/PASTE

Hi,
It may be that I'm missing something but to save time (and errors) I
like to copy/paste where possible, on text fields with Tasker's "Long-
Click" fields this appears almost impossible, I'd rather have a button
on a standard text field.
In any case I can sometimes get it to work and I haven't yet worked it
out...
