Question: Can Tasker keep updating scenes on a Chromebook when Tasker is not the foreground app?
I created a scene using Activity, No Bar, No Status. The scene displays correctly and can be moved around the screen as any normal window. However, when Tasker loses focus, the scene just displays a grey blank panel. I cannot interact with the scene after that and have to manually stop the task.
If I create a scene as an overlay, it can lose focus and I can perform other tasks on the Chromebook but the scene is fixed in a particular location.
Can I keep the scene active as a background task on Chrome OS? If not, please consider this a feature request.
(Tasker has proven surprisingly useful on my Chromebook. I use it to watch servers in the background/watch trading accounts/etc. It's a quick way to create simple tasks with minimal code.)
