Is there a way to manipulate how "Extend Unlock" works?

We all know that "Extend Unlock" does not work as expected in some situations. 

Is there a way to trick "Extend Unlock" with Tasker? 

For example, send an intent, a message, or whatever when we like to trick it to unlock the phone. 

Removing the PIN (using ADB WiFi) is not an option because it will also remove the fingerprint from the phone, which is not expected.
