Hello,
I am trying to be able to get a IP cameras photo using the HTTP GET
feature of tasker. So far I have the ip and port filled in.
The rest of the data is "/Jpeg/CamImg1.jpg". So written out it looks
like, "http://0.0.0.0:0000/Jpeg/CamImg1.jpg". For more info, the
webcam is a wowwee rovio. Now I am stuck how to do the next step. I
am looking to be able to download the jpg image that is returned of
that result. I have tried to write a file with %HTTPD and also to set
the file path for the HTTP GET to dcim/photo.jpg, but nothing is
working. Does anyone know how I would get this to work?
thanks in advance

You should definitely be setting the file.

What does %HTTPR (the HTTP response code) show ?

It says 401?

How should I set the file?

401 means unauthorized, presumably it wants a username password.

I tried to add in the attributes:
Username=myusername
Password=mypassword
And it did not work. I also tried adding this to the beginning of my
ip so it looks like:
Http://username:pass...@0.0.0.0:0000
Still it does not work. I just get the same number, 401. Any
additional ideas?

I guess you tested the username and password with a browser ?

Next version (beta due tomorrow) the username:password@servername:port
format should work, try that.

Yes I used the browser on the phone and it fetches the jpeg image.
Cool, will we be able to upgrade to it from the app market?

So the HTTP Get setup on Tasker for me should look like:

Ip/port = username:password@servername:port
Path = /Jpeg/CamImg.jpg
Mime Type = Image/Jpeg
Output File = Dcim/Webcam.jpg
