Creating a intent task with data from Nova Launcher

Hello,

An app I have creates desktop shortcuts for specific tasks.  I have been unable to find the specific activity using Secure Settings to launch this.

I went ahead and tore down a Nova Launcher backup to try to find the specific intent being used for this shortcut and found:

#Intent;component=com.xiaomi.smarthome/.scene.SmartHomeLauncherActivity;S.extra_scene_account=8657856776;i.extra_scene_id=523453252;end

How do I create an intent task based on this?

Is this any different from the intent task that is built into Tasker already?  I am actually hoping to get help on how to populate the intent fields.  I have tried several iterations and I cannot get it to work.

Yes, it's different because you can launch a shortcut directly from Tasker. If I well understood you created a shortcut, isn't it? So you can use the "launch shortcut" action.

Oh!  Awesome! The shortcut option lets me use the exact intent I posted up top and it worked!  This is perfect thanks so much!!!

Hi Ashish, I was doing something similar by trying to perform a backup of Nova Launcher in my phone solely using Intents. I can get to the Settings activity but that's all, I'm unable to figure out the right iterations/mix of things to put in a Intent that'll trigger a backup of Nova Launcher without manual intervention. If you (or anyone else) happen to have any pointers it'd be greatly appreciated.
