Guys,

I tried to make profile for TuneIn Radio automatically.
( every morning 7:00am exec. tunein radio until 8:00)
But when I load app tunein radio, it just show Browse page. No play.
How to select station and make play?

Also I tried to load TuneIn Pro widget. But I can't find how to load
widget in tasker.
Any idea or solution?

That's presumably also what it shows when you click the icon in the
launcher ?

> How to select station and make play?

You could try simulating a media button Play press (see Media / Media
Control).
If you have root, you could use the Input / Dpad action to select a
station automatically.

Finally, the app might accept some data when it starts up which
specifies what to do. Try contacting the developers and ask about it.

You can't 'load' a widget. It's not possible for other apps to find
out what the widget does when it's pressed. But again, asking the
developer for details might help. You could then use the Action/
Component Intent actions to reproduce whatever the widget usually
does.

I've been wanting to do this also.. So following Pent's advice:

New Task: TuneIn (station name)
+ load app: Tune In
+dpad: Down
+dpad: up
+dpad: left
+dpad: Down (repeat X times to get to the correct preset)
+dpad: Press
+ Go Home

New Task: Close TuneIn
+Kill App: TuneIn

edit the close TuneIn task...

New Task: Close TuneIn
+ load app: Tune In
+ Button: Back
+ Button: Back
+Kill App: TuneIn

I'm afraid I already know the answer, but is there any chance I could
use the dpad/input action on a non-rooted wildfire-s?

I was hoping to create the same setup as mentioned above for tunein
radio

AFAIK dpad/input is just for rooted roms, hopefully, for security reasons.
Rooting is not usually a stressful thing to do, try it if you want (there even might be one-click solutions around), but understand the consequences (with big power comes big responsibilities)

Actually, if you have a DroidX and want to root Gingerbread, it's pretty stressful. You have to restore stock Froyo via sbf, root Froyo, then sbf an already-rooted version of Gingerbread. Motorola make it real hard. But yes, many phones are easier than that to root.

This is not true. There's now a very easy one-click root process for the X.

In case I didn't provide the link correctly, it's on www.droid-life.com. Search for "root droidx". I rooted my X using this method both before and after the 605 update. Couldn't be more simple and if I can do it, anyone can. Now I can use Tasker functions, such as reboot, that needs root.

Bummer. I rooted my phone before that technique was published. Thanks for the link for next time.

I just installed the OTA update to GB .605 and followed the instruction in your link. Worked great! Much easier than SBFing. Thank you.

I spoke too soon. The files linked in that post don't work for a previously rooted DroidX. However, there's a new version that does work: http://www.psouza4.com/droid3/

Maybe I got lucky. I was totally stock on 602 (the release before 605) and did the one-click root from that link. Then I installed the 605 OTA update and simply ran the one-click root again. No problems at all.

You have to first make your own display orientation variable since there isn't one built-in. Create a new profile with the context State -> Display -> Display Orientation -> portrait and have the enter task be Variable Set %ORIENT to portrait and the exit task to be Variable Set %ORIENT to landscape. Then you can use that variable in am if statement in your task.

There's an autostart setting in TuneIn, 'Restart last played stream when the app starts up'
Can't select the station that way of course.
