There's an event in 3rd Party category.

See Events in the userguide for details of how to access the things
that occured in the event.

Depending on what exactly you use NMA for, AutoRemote is likely a better option altogether. It replaces most of what NMA does, but started as a Tasker plugin, rather than have that be thrown on afterwards

I looked at AutoRemote. I'm the kind of computer user that likes to keep things clean and minimalist. What does AutoRemote and it's associated aps do that i could not set up myself with Tasker alone?

Autoremote works entirely in the background and via Tasker can send/receive any messages/notifications to/from PC/Droid. This enables you to forward calls/sms/notifications etc. Allows you to remotely run programs on PC/Droid, Shutdown, Logoff, etc. The list of things you can do is restricted only by your imagination. The Dev is very helpful also. My advice is buy it NOW!

Thank you, I will have look at AutoRemote. But my advantage for NMA is, that I can have as many email adresses as I want and forward things like IFTTT or something like that.

Hi!

What do you mean by having as many email addresses as you want? :) I'm wondering if it's something you can't replicate in AutoRemote...

Anyone who has used NMA would understand what it means. The NMA website will generate a random email address that when it receives an email, it will be forwarded to the associated device running NMA. And they can be deleted when you don't want to use them any more. For me, this is the most compelling reason to use it.

For example, I used one for my previous employer's server monitoring system when I was on call. When I left the company, I didn't need to worry about cleaning up the monitoring system to prevent receiving alarms, I simply went to the NMA website and deleted the corresponding email address.

With enough time, money, and effort, I'm sure this could be replicated with AutoRemote and an ISP that allows you to create email addresses. But it's seamlessly integrated to NMA, so why reinvent the wheel?

This is exactly what I mean and for what I personally prefer NMA. AutoRemote is great, but I need this easy setup of many emails to forward directly to my android phone. Thanks for the explanation Scott Miller.
