Join on Nvidia Shield TV

is there a google groups forum for Join?

if not, here's my question.

I previously had Join installed on my Nvidia Shield but recently did a factory reset.
I side-loaded the latest version 3.0.9 and when I try to 'Sign in with Google' and pick my account, I get the following error

Couldn't authorize on server: Error: A non-recoverable sign-in failure occurred.
(code: 12500)
